Hi, I am Kim Gronquist and host of our local Crochet Guild. I have been crocheting for over 50 years, and truly enjoy sharing my love of crochet with others. Currently, I am enjoying making fun little amigurumi critters, but I have made everything from intricate crochet lace dresses, to giant rope playgrounds, and of course afghans.
Join us for our Monthly Meetings in Bothell…
Whether you are just getting started or are a long time crocheter, this guild is for you.
Our meetings will have a fairly casual structure:
- Introductions
- Show & Tell (things we are working on, or proud that we finished)
- Tips & Tricks (we will try to have at least one new tip or technique to explore at each meeting)
- Social stitching time (use this time to get help with something you are struggling with, or just find motivation to get through your pile of in-progress projects)
- Door prize(s) – each meeting will have a giveaway item for random winner(s)
We have a Facebook group that helps provide a community to share our projects and other local events. I find it is very motivating to see what everyone is working on between meetings.
If you would like to stay up to date with all of our local happenings, meetings, classes, etc… sign up to get our monthly newsletter.
We are an official chapter of the Crochet Guild of America. Membership in the national organization allows you to participate in special Crochet-alongs, classes and subscription to Crochet World magazine.
