This month we’re venturing into the shadowy alleys and dusty tavern corners where the Kenku lurk. These mysterious, mimicking bird-folk are some of D&D’s most beloved and strange creatures — cursed to repeat only what they’ve heard, yet full of personality, mischief, and a little melancholy. My youngest kid played one in our family’s D&D game, and it added quite a bit of mischief. Your crocheted Kenku can capture all of that in yarn form: dark feathers, clever eyes, and just a hint of chaos energy.
